Batman Begins

Recently things have been a little on the slow side - just sorting through my old drawings, scanning them and sorting out my digital archive (slow process but once completed, I'll have everything I want fitting into a CD case).

Otherwise, I went and saw Batman Begins the other day and it was pretty good! The story at least had some layering to it and was really surprised at who played Jim Gordon (you'll just have to see it to know who it is). I wasn't nuts about Liam Nesson casting as he has just been the same similar character in too many movies (Star Wars, Kingdom of Heaven and now this).

Also saw Madagascar and it was on the ordinary side, much the same way as Shark Tale. The story line just seemed to be very 1 dimensional, kiddy, Disneyish (with nothing for adults) - they really needed to do more with the penguins!

More interesting stuff in coming weeks ... promise.

The Neglected ....

Almost been two weeks since an update - how horrible :(

A combination of factors - unpacking and getting things sorted, studying for things (First Aid course etc) and managed to get some fantastic art instructional DVDs from America (now watched all 8 of those at 2+ hours each and got some fantastic ideas).

This is just a quick update and here was a creature sketch that I did at work a couple of weeks ago.
