Day 57 - Fairy Tale Castles Make Sense

Spent today wandering around Prague and looking at the buildings and architecture. The thing that hit me was all the illustrations that you see in kids books and so forth with Fairy Tale castles. I always thought the designs were quite imaginative but after seeing some buildings in Prague, they are just slight modifications.

Here is a building in the Old Town. Kinda funny as it seems like to get a building approved for construction, the requirement was to probably have 'some pointy thing' on the top of it.



Here is a church that is also in the Old Town Square around from the one above.



And this is another pointy thing type building next to the Opera about a block from the hostel that I am staying. I'm sure if I had a better appreciation for music I would go to this as it is play Valvadi's Four Seasons or something.
